Scotland's Trade Fair Spring and Speciality Food & Drink Show is the biggest and only trade show of its kind in Scotland, bringing together more than 500 wholesale suppliers and thousands of trade buyers at Glasgow SEC each January.

Running for almost fifty years, the show gives independent retailers, gift shops, tourist attractions, farm shops and food buyers access to the best Scottish and UK products in a single three-day visit.

The Spring show runs alongside the Speciality Food and Drink Show -buyers can source across Home and Gift, Clothing, Jewellery, Candles, Souvenirs, Speciality Food, Artisan Drink and more in one trip. Attendance is free for registered trade buyers.

About Scotland's Trade Fair

Scotland's Trade Fair is the biggest and only dedicated trade show in Scotland for wholesale home, gift, clothing and speciality food and drink.

Organised by Springboard Events on behalf of Clarion Events, the show has been connecting wholesale suppliers with trade buyers for almost fifty years.

The Spring edition runs each January at Glasgow SEC. The Autumn edition runs later in the year and gives buyers and suppliers a second opportunity to trade, source and plan.

Both shows are free to attend for registered trade buyers.

A trade show is a wholesale buying event where suppliers exhibit their products directly to retail buyers in a single venue over several days.

At Scotland's Trade Fair, more than 500 wholesale suppliers take stands in the halls at Glasgow SEC. Trade buyers — including shop owners, gift buyers, online retailers, tourist attraction buyers and food buyers — attend free of charge and walk the floor, meeting suppliers, viewing product ranges and placing wholesale orders.

The format makes it possible to meet dozens of suppliers, handle product in person, and make buying decisions in one concentrated trip rather than through individual sales calls or online browsing.

The Speciality Food and Drink Show runs alongside Scotland's Trade Fair in the same halls at Glasgow SEC, on the same three days.

It brings Scotland's artisan food and drink producers together with farm shop, deli, food hall, hospitality and tourist attraction buyers — covering everything from preserves, pies and chocolate to craft gin and speciality teas.

A single free trade registration gives access to both shows, so buyers can source gifts, homeware and food and drink in one visit.

The show is open to registered trade buyers only. Attendees include independent retail shop owners and buyers, gift shop managers, tourist attraction and heritage venue retail teams, farm shop and deli buyers, hotel and hospitality buyers, online retailers, and market traders.

Exhibitors are wholesale suppliers from Scotland and across the UK, ranging from independent Scottish makers to established national wholesale brands, artisan food and drink producers, and specialist gift and homeware companies. The show is not open to the general public.

Yes. Attendance is free for all registered trade buyers.

Buyers simply need to register in advance. Walk-in registration is also available on each show day at Glasgow SEC.

Attending the Spring show gives access to both Scotland's Trade Fair and the Speciality Food and Drink Show, which run simultaneously in the same venue.

The Spring 2027 show runs from Sunday 24 January to Tuesday 26 January 2027 at Glasgow SEC (Scottish Event Campus), Exhibition Way, Glasgow G3 8YW.

Opening hours are Sunday and Monday 9:30am to 5:00pm, and Tuesday 9:30am to 4:00pm.
