With a career spanning journalism, broadcasting, and place management, Natalie McShane brings a wealth of experience in communications and community engagement. After more than 20 years as a journalist and 13 years as a producer and director with Scottish Television, Natalie moved into communications across both the public and private sectors. She joined Paisley First Business Improvement District in 2017 as Communications Manager, becoming BID Manager the following year. Since then, she has led two successful renewal ballots and delivered a range of high-profile projects, including the Buddie Walk of Fame in 2024. Natalie is passionate about showcasing Paisley’s creativity and ambition and hopes the town’s recent Town of the Year award will inspire more people to rediscover all that Paisley has to offer.
