My furniture knob handles are made with a special marble effect jesmonite which I cast in a specially made mould. Each knob handle is given an acid etch bath to clean their surface of dust and debris to reveal a rough stone-like finish and then sanded til smooth. The knob handles are then given a coat of stain resistant penetrating sealer.

For the terrazzo design I collect and recycle leftover cured jesmonite pieces salvaged from previous casting jobs. I break these pieces down into little crumbs which are then added into fresh batches of white jesmonite mix and poured into moulds to create a terrazzo effect.
