A creative pairing unlike any other.

Not all art is created equally, but ours very much is. We, Roz and Abi, both work on each quirky original animal illustration we produce. Abi draws and paints the animals, and Roz adds colourful floral patterns to their shirts and accessories, meaning each character always wears a Tipperleyhill original!

As best friends and artists, we play to each other’s strengths: Abi’s superpower for drawing and composition and Roz’s love of colour, pattern, and mark-making.

In our studio, there’s no space to take ourselves too seriously. We reflect the happy energy that emanates from us as we work in the humorous characters we produce. We create this way to put smiles on people’s faces, knowing that if we love something, others will too, and this is what keeps us going.

We’re both trained artists and met in New York while working for a textile design studio. Roz confessed she didn’t like drawing, and Abi replied she didn’t enjoy colouring in, so the perfect team was born. After returning to the UK, Tipperleyhill became our way to continue our friendship while going back to the one thing we both genuinely love: painting.
