The House of Edgar, established in 1783, manufactures and provides authentic and quality Highlandwear on a global scale.

Offering over 1000 stock held tartan fabrics, woven in the Highlands, made from 100% wool in a variety of traditional, contemporary and unique designs. Traditional gents kilts are expertly made in house.

We also manufacture kilt jackets, ties, flashes, hose, plaids and scarves to help compliment the outfit. Our experienced design team offer a custom tartan design service, which can be for corporate organisations or individuals, for the more personal touch.

100% Pure New Wool Ties available in any of our 1000 tartans along with Islay, Callanish and Plain Twill to co-ordinate with the colours in our kilts and tartans.
Hebridean Scarves
100% Lambswool scarves brushed to a luxurious raised finish and sized at a generous 180 x 25 cm with purled fringes. Available in 24 of our new contemporary Hebridean tartan designs.
Irish County Scarves
100% Lambswool scarves brushed to a luxurious raised finish and sized at a generous 180 x 30cm with purled fringes. Available in Irish national and 32 Irish County tartans.
