Neon Magpie is a small-but-mighty Scottish design studio creating joyful illustrated gifts inspired by the colours, creatures and humour of Scotland. Based just outside Edinburgh, we spend our days bringing playful characters to life, from puffins and Highland cows to cheeky Nessie, all designed to make people smile.

Our best sellers? Our very Scottish soaps!
Handmade, humorous and packed with personality, our soaps keep both tourists and locals delighted. With favourites like Irn Bru Soap, Haggis Soap and other wonderfully quirky creations, they’ve become firm favourites across Scotland. We were thrilled to be finalists in Gift of the Year 2025, with our soaps receiving Highly Commended recognition. This year, we’re extra excited to launch Tiny Town Soaps, a brand-new collection that smells incredible and looks even better.

Alongside our soaps, we create colourful illustrated Scottish gifts — cards, enamel pins, books and wonderfully giftable treasures featuring iconic Scottish wildlife and landmarks. Everything is designed in Scotland, filled with imagination, heart and a good dash of Scottish humour.

All of our products are illustrated and designed in-house by Megan and Chris with care and love. We make the gifts we’d love to receive ourselves, and that extra attention makes Neon Magpie products feel truly special. We hope you enjoy stocking them as much as people enjoy discovering them.
