Middleshade is a perfume house born from a Scottish farm, where two scientists - Rory and Marina - bring together botany, chemistry, and a deep love of landscape to create quietly luxurious, small-batch fragrances. What began as a land-restoration project became Scotland’s lavender farm and a studio for distilling botanicals that shape our perfumes. Guided by scientific rigour, environmental stewardship, and an artistic devotion to place, we craft scents that begin in the soil, honour the stories of Scotland, and are finished by hand on our farm in Kinross-shire.
