The Clapdale wool project uses wool from farms around Glencroft's warehouse in Clapham, Yorkshire Dales. It pays farmers a decent price per kg and provides a profit share of the final items made from the wool. The wool is processed entirely in Yorkshire.

For our 2022 clip, it was gathered and sorted by British Wool. This is the first stage of the process before scouring, carding, spinning and weaving or knitting.
