Brine and Smoke to Launch Hot Oak Smoked Scottish Salmon at

Scotland’s Trade Speciality Food and Drink Show in Glasgow 19-21

Brine and Smoke, the artisan smokehouse renowned for its premium hot smoked salmon and innovative culinary creations, is proud to announce the launch of its product: hot oak smoked Scottish salmon. The launch will take place at the Scotland’s Trade Fair Speciality Food and Drink set to be held in Glasgow 19-21 January 2025.

Brine and Smoke is a family-run smokehouse based near Aberfoyle, Scotland, specializing in high-quality, sustainably sourced smoked fish.

Yas and his wife, Alison, turned Altskeith Country House, from a tired country house into a sought-after wedding venue where love stories began and dreams came true.

As a trained chef, Yas created menus inspired by his passion for food preservation, bold flavours, and his

appreciation for local ingredients.

One of the star dishes which earned rave reviews from guests was his hot oak smoked Scottish salmon, whether served as a whole side to share at a table, or turned into starters such as salmon pate, canapes and main dishes.

He was regularly asked where it could be purchased and so the idea of Brine and Smoke was created. An online business that deliveries to your door within the UK.Brine and Smoke’s salmon is handcrafted and smoked in small batches.

Sourced exclusively from sustainably managed Scottish salmon farms, each fillet is carefully brined and smoked over aromatic oak logs to deliver a rich, velvety texture and light smoky taste. Each fish is carefully labelled it identify the exact location it was sourced.

The team will also be pitching at Nessies Den on 21 January at 1.45 p.m. Scotland’s Trade Speciality Food and Drink Show is a premier annual event celebrating Scotland’s finest food and drink producers, attracting industry leaders, chefs, buyers, and food lovers from around the globe.
