The Island Larder, as its name implies, is a shopping hub designed to showcase the very finest produce that our beautiful native islands have to offer.
We source everything we stock in the shop as locally as possible and use the very best small-scale food and drink makers we can find.

From our very own, on site kitchen, and when the Covid-19 pandemic first struck we were in the process of expanding into new premises at the heart of Lerwick’s historic and picturesque town centre.

We have recently begun making our own ice cream in a delicious array of flavours, utilising local cooperative Shetland Farm Dairies’ wonderful produce.

Our aim is to provide a fresh, modern shopping experience for locals and visitors alike, shining a light on Shetland’s rich food and drink heritage including our own delicious produce.
