    Marc Crothall, CEO of the Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) and the industry lead of the Scottish Tourism Emergency Response Group (STERG), presents on the first two phases of the national tourism and food tourism priority action plan that is aligned to Scotland Outlook 2030 and designed to help drive the recovery of the visitor economy, attracting international visitors back to Scotland and also encouraging our domestic tourists to experience more of Scotland over the coming 2-3 years. He will also present what the STA, who are the national tourism trade body, are doing both in representing the interests of the sector and lobbying government for the best policy, and right investment to help support business recovery.

    The Scottish Retail Food & Drink Awards' official research partners,  Edinburgh based 56Degree Insight will be hosting a 2 hour lively, engaging and interactive session where they will share some of the very latest consumer trends affecting the  Scottish food and drink sector , following their exclusive survey that was carried out in December last year.  The survey examined a wide array of important topics including Scottish consumers’ attitudes towards issues like buying local, sustainability, veganism and much more. Some of the key findings  will be shared and highlighted by Jim and Duncan in this session. The panel will then discuss and share their expert views on how these key trends are reflected in the independent, convenience and multiple grocery retail sector in Scotland today.
