WHY VISIT GLASGOW?

Visitors will love Glasgow: the friendliness of the people, the quality of the shopping and the numerous cafés, bars and restaurants.

As Scotland’s city of cool, creatives converge in Glasgow which was named as the UK's top cultural and creative city in 2019. The city's neighbourhoods are bustling with original products from Glasgow's makers and creators, whilst down the cobbled lanes, you'll find treasures from independent traders.

We love that Glasgow is the home to Scotland's Trade Fairs.

"Foodie Finnieston"

Voted as one of the “hippest places to live” in the UK by The Times and one of the "top ten coolest neighbourhoods" in Europe by The Independent, Finnieston has transformed itself into a culinary hub. Some of the city’s most exciting bars and restaurants are located here on Argyle Street, solidifying Glasgow’s reputation as a place for fantastic food, drink and entertainment alongside a thriving hub of creative businesses.

All of this is within walking distance from the SEC - aren't you lucky?! Here are some of our favourite eating spots:
