Three Beaches 

Harris has been one of the most important influences in my work as a contemporary landscape artist. The iconic beach of Luskentyre majestically stands out amongst many other beautiful jewels. Accessible by a single-track road, which passes by the weaver’s shed, I came to the end of the journey. Hidden by the steep banks of white dunes the path led me to the shore. Amazing patterns had been formed by the wind on the surface of lustrous grains of sand. Turquoise waters stretch out across to Taransay, and the shallow waters of high tide glisten across this wide expanse.
