The Celtic Stole is a big bold and beautiful wrap style garment. Laid out flat is is a U shaped piece of fabric, heavier than our usual pieces as we knit it on 2 needles beds. Merino wool on the front and alternating rows of merino and linen/cotton on the rear. As such the Stole is reversible and can be worn either way showing a slightly different colour and effect on each side. Trimmed with a pipe of linen/cotton which lifts the highlight colour from the merino background. These are really exciting items to style and really dress up well for a special evening or to wrap up warm in the winter.
