Michelle is founder and owner of Sustainability Catalyst Ltd providing advice on sustainability and environmental management for a variety of clients across the UK. She has successfully supported many organisations on their journey to develop and implement their sustainability strategy, including industry bodies, nationally significant infrastructure projects and private companies.  ​Before becoming an independent consultant, Michelle was Head of Environment for Network Rail. ​ She has been a Board member of the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and SNH (now NatureScot).  Michelle has worked as an environment and sustainability professional for 30 years in both the public and private sectors. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and a Chartered Environmentalist.
