Michael is CEO of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions. The organisation aims to support and inspire the industry to deliver outstanding visitor experience. He is also a Director of the Scottish Tourism Alliance and a member of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry Leadership Group. In 2023, Michael was awarded the IoD Sustainability Director of the Year and the Highlands and Islands Tourism Individual of the Year.
