Designed by Islay was born out of a love of an eclectic selection of passions; type design, colour and the Scottish language. Inspired by sayings her mother and grandmother used to say, Islay created colourful greeting cards and art prints of inspirational Scottish quotes beautifully set in contemporary type, focusing on the positive.
The collection continued to grow and includes original sayings and a unique range of illustrated Wild Swimming and Stand Up Paddle boarding greeting cards, prints and gifts.
We greatly focus on sustainability and all the products are printed in the UK and on FSC accredited recycled paper stock and come with 100% recycled Kraft envelopes or are backed with 100% recycled grey card. All printed products are packaged in bio-degradable and compostable cello wrappers.
Launching into wholesale earlier this year, Designed by Islay’s products have continually proved popular with a design for any occasion!
